• DELOS: A Network of Excellence on Digital Libraries: Costantino Thanos, Research Director at ISTI-CNR, introduces the new DELOS Network of Excellence on Digital Libraries and describes it in terms of its objectives, activities and expected results.

Cluster Reports

All issues of the Newsletter will carry a report from each of the seven clusters operating within the DELOS Network of Excellence. These reports will seek to keep you informed of the developments being made by groups within the cluster and keep you up to date with current interests and the direction in which research and implementation work is proceeding.

The seven different clusters reporting are as follows:

  Tiziana Catarci provides an update on ongoing activity into the approach adopted by the User Interfaces and Visualization (UIV) Cluster to gather user requirements.
